Introduction to understanding a basic sewing machine. We have both mechanical and computerized sewing machines to review. Perfect for beginners to be comfortable with sewing machines and their basic components and stitches. Up to 5 students per class.

Beginners Learn to Sew
Learn how to sew your first project. Compare different types of fabric and how it relates to the machine, presser feet, thread and needles. Lay out fabric and work with a pattern and learn basic construction. We supply sewing machines and cutting tables. Students supply fabric, pattern, and basic sewing supplies. A list of supplies will be emailed upon registration. It is highly recommended students take Sewing Machine Basics before signing up for this class but is not a requirement.
$129 for 8 hours of instruction
Second and Third Saturdays of the Month—1:00pm – 2:30pm
Kids Intro to Sewing
Kids learn to use a basic sewing machine by threading it, using a bobbin, and changing stitch types. Practice sewing by cutting out and making a small bag. Call or email for next available Saturdays.
$55 for 3 hours of instruction
Sewing Students are entitled to a 10% discount on new machines and notions during enrollment.
