 Introduction to understanding a basic sewing machine. We have both mechanical and computerized sewing machines to review. Perfect for beginners to be comfortable with sewing machines and their basic components and stitches. Up to 5 students per class.

Learn How to Use Your Machine

Bring in your sewing machine, serger, or embroidery machine (if not purchased from us) for one-on-one instruction and to answer your sewing machine questions. Learn about its basic components and functions.

Learn to Quilt

Learn the basics of measuring, cutting with a rotary cutter, and machine quilting a small quilt top. All levels of sewing experience welcome.

Beginners Learn to Sew Class Series

Learn how to sew your first project. Compare different types of fabric and how it relates to the machine, presser feet, thread and needles. Lay out fabric and work with a pattern and learn basic construction. We supply sewing machines and tables. Second OR Third Saturday of the Month—1:00pm – 4:00pm 

Kids Intro to Sewing

Kids learn to use a basic sewing machine by threading it, using a bobbin, and changing stitch types. Practice sewing by making a small lined tote bag. Call or email for next available Saturday.

Scout Sewing Classes (or any Organization)

Classes for Scouts or any organization are available. We arrange classes for groups of four or more. Call for more information.

Call for cost per Student 

Monday – Saturday: 10:30am – 3:30pm. Call first to make sure studio is available.

Open Studio

Use of our classroom space including cutting table, sewing machines, iron and ironing board, and basic sewing tools. Call to reserve a spot or see if there is space available.

$20/hour

Most Saturdays — 2:00pm – 5:00pm (must be pre-registered to attend)

Sewing Workshop

Bring your own sewing project, fabric, and tools and enjoy dedicated studio time with an experienced instructor on hand to help. Use our sewing machines, cutting table, iron and ironing board, and workspace while you create at your own pace. Enjoy or 10% discount for the day you are registered.
